We are just cruising into this season and things are good. There wasn't a lot of news this week, which is maybe sort of remarkable for this time of year. All of our holiday decorations are up. Most of the presents have been purchased. Rach and I came home from a date last night to see the kids just sitting in the living room in the dark, save the lights on the tree, and listening to Christmas music. They were drinking hot cocoa or herbal tea. "Don't turn on the lights or you'll ruin the mood!" were the first words I heard them say. They must be my kids. I love these dark, quiet evenings.

| We had a few dates this week. This is from a play we saw- How I Learned to Drive. It wasn't an enjoyable play. It wasn't meant to be. It was good though and prompted some conversation on our drive home. |

| Rach also got out with her friends a little bit. Also, we both had a great time hanging out with different friends over good food and football on Sunday afternoon. It's a good time of year for hanging out. |
